Devin Booker’s first signature shoe has been a long time coming, originally teased in September 2023, with a super-limited, 500-pair Clay Orange release following in December. Now their proper release is upon us. The Nike Book 1 threads the needle between basketball and lifestyle shoe with an unusual mix of materials in the upper: a workwear canvas and twill base is joined by a cushy suede collar and leather overlays. It’s built on a thick foam midsole with a Zoom Air unit in the heel for a responsive, broken-in feel and finished with a textured rubber sole for grip and “Chapter One” text on the pull tabs. Available via Nike SNKRS on February 17 at 10 am.
