For the last several years, Callaway has used AI to inform the face designs of their drivers, woods, and irons. Now they’re applying the technology to the most important club in the bag: the short stick. The new line of Odyssey Ai-One Putters includes both standard and milled models. The former has an aluminum-backed White Hot Urethane insert with precision contours on the back of the face to minimize speed loss on off-center hits; as a result, the ball ends up 21% closer to the hole on average compared to a standard putter. A 100% milled stainless steel body is paired with a 100% Milled titanium insert in the latter, again boosting off-center speed and increasing the sweet spot while delivering the premium feel expected from a milled putter. Available in a variety of head shapes to suit different players, the putters have already proven themselves at the highest level, with Jon Rahm gaming an Ai One Rossie model while going undefeated in the Ryder Cup.
